Zephyrs and Zodiacs: A Kiwi Passion

Ford Zephyrs and Zodiacs were a quintessential part of life in New Zealand for everyone over 40 − not many Kiwis won't have had at least one memorable ride in a Zephyr. Nowadays Zephyr and Zodiac car clubs meet in almost every town and city, and the army of enthusiasts all know each other, have their own newsletters and swap meets, sell each other cars and parts and compete against one another at regular meetings up and down the country on a regular basis. They love their cars dearly, whether they be Mark I, Mark II, Mark III and Mark IV Zodiacs or Consuls, and Tim Chadwick has had a ball exploring the popular history of these much-loved cars, profiling some of the owners and collectors of these now classic motor vehicles.
