Samoa : traditional and historical DVD

A new SAMOA DVD featuring seven stories is now available to buy on DVD (PAL and NTSC format). “SAMOA – Traditional and Historical” includes a dramatisation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s last five years in Samoa, as remembered by Samoans themselves. Other stories revisit the mystery of the sailing vessel, Joyita, the dramatic annual fautasi races, a brief history of Samoa up until Independence, and a light hearted look at the year Hollywood came to Samoa. And four Samoans decide to undergo the ritual processes of having their traditional tattoo, male and female (malu).
